Military Discount – Now All Veterans Qualify

We have been supporters of our US military for years. We even created a picture that showcases the savings our men and women in uniform can receive when they purchase a Chevrolet from us. We are happy to announce that General Motors has expanded its support of the US Military.

Effective January 4^th, 2022, our Military Cash Allowance program will be available to ALL Veterans of the US Military through 2022.

This is a huge deal and solidifies GM’s 100-year support of our military. It doesn’t matter if you are shopping for a Silverado Trail Boss or a Traverse you save if you served. As of this month, your discount is $500 in addition to our already low prices.

Verification of U.S. military service is required by the service member/veteran. They can create an account and authenticate by clicking on “sign in with Troop ID” at  www.gmmilitarydiscount.com.  Once the service member has verified, they will be able to obtain their authorization code.

Who is eligible for the GM Military Program?

• Active-Duty members, Reservists, National Guard members, Veterans and Retirees of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and sponsored spouse.

Can a service member sponsor a purchaser?

• The military service member can sponsor their spouse. However, the verification must be completed by the service member. Then they can obtain an authorization code for their spouse.

What documents are accepted by ID.me for verification of U.S. military service?

•  Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), DD214, Retiree Account Statement (eRAS), Retiree Verification of Pay Letter, Retiree Separation Orders (Reserve or National Guard), Retiree Uniformed Services ID Card, DAVPRM Uniformed Services ID Card, VA Card. Due to government regulations (Title 18, US Code Part 1, Chapter 33, Section 701), ID.me cannot accept a copy of a military ID card (CAC) for verification purposes.
